Amani Good Parenting is a non-profit organisation that provides and specialises in equipping parents and caregivers with behaviour modification skills, family therapy, individual and supportive therapy.
What does Amani Good Parenting mean?
Amani is a Swahili word which means peaceful and we would like parents and children to have a peaceful non-punitive parenting experience.
The organisation was formed in 2014 by mental health care professionals that have a passion for children and their emotional wellbeing. The organisation has hosted various workshops across the country which covered a wide range of mental health issues that affect children. The workshops were targeted at parents, caregivers and early childhood development centre practitioners.
Amani Good Parenting also provides counselling via online platforms.
